Indigo announced the opening of the new Daily, Direct Air Service connecting Delhi and Guangzhou in China, which is due to start November 10, 2025.
This step is followed by the Indian Ministry for External Affairs (Mea) at the beginning of this month to officially restore direct flights between the two nations. The air trip in this corridor was previously suspended after the Pandemia Covid-19 and Doclam. The Chinese Embassy has further strengthened the reinforcement of development ties, while the spokesman confirmed the continuation of renewed flight operations.
Indigo said he was one of the first carriers to restart services between India and China after recent suspension.
The airline emphasized its expansion strategy in the region and also recorded its previously announced daily service between Kalkata and Guangzha, which is due to start on October 26, 2025.
Vinay Malhotra, the leading of global sales in Indiga, said: “We are glad that we can strengthen our connectivity with China with daily direct flights between Delh and Guangzha in addition to the recently renewed Calcutta route.”
“In this launch, Indigo combines China with its huge domestic and growing international network through Guangzhou. We are convinced that this will contribute to accelerating opportunities in trade, investment, tourism and even education between the two countries.
Flight Plan and Tickets
The flight schedule suggests that the outgoing service from Delhi is scheduled to depart at 21:45 and arrive in Guangzhou at 04:40 the next morning. The corresponding return flight is scheduled to leave Guangzhou at 05:50, landing back in Delhi at 10:10. Tickets for the new Delhi-Guangzhou route are now available to purchase through the Indigo website.
