The chairman of the twenty -point committee for the implementation of the DINAKAR LAND program asked the Parvatathhipuram district officials to promote food/agro and the craft industry, strengthen the tourism and services industry and contribute to the district to become part of the prosperous “swarna” and “Viksit Bharat”.
Mr. Dinakar reviewed the progress of medium sponsored schemes, projects and development of infrastructure in the Parvatathipuram district with the district collector Shyam Prasad and officials from various departments.
The review took place with the aim of converting the district into a “developed district of Parvatathipuram Manyam,” to overcome challenges in accordance with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047” and the goal of “Swarny Andhra 2047”.
During the review of water management systems, it was revealed that only 1,797 (16%) were completed out of 7,172 allotted farmers. As for the Jal Jeevan mission, the district did not meet the targets set by the center between 2019 and 24 in 2019–24 due to lack of long -term water sources. It was found that from identified 85,002 rural households 46,984 got a kick connection, but many taps do not have water supply.
Given the PMGSE (rural road scheme), it was assumed that it was occupying 47 road projects covering 250.96 km at estimated costs at 241.49 Crores, of which 30 projects were completed with 147.45 GBP Crore. “One project is waiting for forest check -in, while 12 projects are progress, two have been dropped and the other two have not yet begun,” said Mr. Dinakar.
Within the PMay scheme from 39,500 houses, 18 600 were completed, while only 14 houses were completed from 5,853 under PM Janman.
Mr. Dinakar asked officials to speed up the implementation of PM Surya Ghar. He said that only 1,167 registrations were made and only 135 units have been installed.
He said that 115.87 acres of soil were identified under PM-KUSUM for solar production. He said that due to the delay of the previous government farmers in 2022–24 did not gain benefits from the PM crop insurance system. Mr. Dinakar asked officials to remove any misconceptions of natural agriculture between the agricultural community and stated that the state government also actively promotes this.
During the review, it was revealed that 1,813 applications for 18 professional skills were accepted within the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, of which 433 were trained, 51 approved for bank loans and 24 loans.
Dinakar said that 11 waterfalls and three reservoirs were identified for the development of tourism projects in the district.
