Digvesh Rathi, Longhaired Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Mystery Spinner, is a toast IPL-2025, which has attracted the attention of all its modest spells and crucial goals. What inspired you to take your legs? At first I was Batsman, but there were very few opportunities. After launching, I warmed up or mixed up at higher bats and learned a lot by watching Bowling Sunil Narine (as a clean pitch for Kalkata Knight in 2024). I tried these techniques in the nets and from there I learned everything new.
Where did you learn the basics? I never learned the foundations. No one taught me. I didn’t make a basic bowling! I liked to do ‘mystery bowling’ because it was new to the world, I enjoyed the bowling and watched it. I used to be a bat before, but when I bowed in the nets, I found a great joy of beating the batsmen with mysterious balls. I played in the DilShad Garden complex (in Delhi), where the head teammate, Robin Bishht, told me to focus on bowling. He told me to be a pitch, not Batsman. Then I started. As for mysterious bowling, if you ask someone, they probably say they don’t know much about it. Mystery Spinners often discuss things among themselves. During the match Mumbai Indians I spoke to Mujeeb ur Rehman and he thinks just like me. Last year, when I was a pure pitch for KRK, I talked to Varun Chakravarthy and think similarly. I believe that all mysterious spinners think in this way.

What makes you the most impressed on the road IPL Digvesh Rathi?
Are you happy coaches not trying to change their unique bowling event? No one motivated me. Everyone said that this “mysterious” rotation would not work, that I should give up and just spin regularly and that I should play in the ranja Trophy. All of my coaches said I should have to have offspin, but I didn’t like it at all. The cricket in Delhi is so fast that if you mix OFPSPIN, you can only 2-3 overs. Then Batsmen just focus on offspinner and try to hit six, regardless of the size of the country or the conditions of the pitch.

Has Delhi Premier League (DPL) Was it important in your development and attraction of IPL talent hunters? Yes, not only for me, but for all crickets in Delhi. Many crickets play very well and DPL is a large platform. If for some reason they cannot play a domestic cricket for Delhi, they can work well in the DPL and also attract the IPL franchise. I took 14 goals to DPL. I felt I was supposed to take more.
How did it feel to reject your idol Sunil Narine? It was an extremely strange moment in my life. I was missat in PowerPlay, but I didn’t get the opportunity in that match. I have prepared a strategic setting for Narine, because bats exceptionally well. My plan was to get him out into the powerplay, but when I didn’t get to the bowl at that time, I felt it would be easier to release him later when the field was open. I really admire his bowling, although he is also good Batsman.
You celebrated aggressively when you took the pandjab kings dough Priyank AryaGoal … I knew that if I bowed to him as I usually do, I couldn’t get him out. That’s why I spent an hour on Earth with (LSG) coach Justin Langer and Vijay Dahiya Sir and developed a new option because I knew Priyansh would read my Googly. He’s a talented player. How do you think that success in IPL will change your career? I just want to do what I do. I love learning new things. I enjoy living at the moment. I don’t like watching past matches. I do not look back or find my own bowling attractive. I don’t like social media. I just want to play well for my team.
