Deputy General Inspector (Dig) Ashish Mehrotra on Monday 28th April took over the duties of the commander, district of the Indian Coast Guard No. 4 (Kerala and Mahe), taking over the departing commander of the district, Dig N. Ravi.
The new ICG commander for the region has completed electronics at Lucknow University and holds a master’s degree in naval science at the Indian Navy navigation and routing school. In 1998 he joined the Indian Coast Guard service.
