Deputy General Inspector Ashish Mehrotra
Deputy General Inspector (Dig) Ashish Mehrotra on Monday 28th April took over the duties of the commander, district of the Indian Coast Guard No. 4 (Kerala and Mahe), taking over the departing commander of the district, Dig N. Ravi.
The new ICG commander for the region has completed electronics at Lucknow University and holds a master’s degree in naval science at the Indian Navy navigation and routing school. In 1998 he joined the Indian Coast Guard service.
Its important appointment is to serve as a navigation clerk of the western fleet Insudayagiri as the first Indian coastal guard, who is in the center of information in the field of fighting against piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia as a manager (research) and advisor He is also the holder of DG ICG ‘SWORD OF HONOR’ for the overall performance during the training.
