The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday (April 29, 2025) that since the opening of national educational policy, the Education System has witnessed significant changes. He said that steps such as the National Curriculum, the materials for learning teaching and new textbooks for classes 1 to 7 have already been prepared.
He addressed the unifying academic community, industry and innovators for the conclave of Vikit Bharat (Yugm) organized jointly by the Union Ministry and the Wadhwani Foundation in Nový Dilli.
“As part of PM E-VIDYA and Diksha platform,“ One Nation, One Digital Educational Infrastructure ”was created. This infrastructure is based on AI and scalable. It is used to prepare textbooks in more than 30 Indian languages and seven foreign languages, ”said Mr. Modi.
The Prime Minister added that through the National Credit Framework, it is easier for students to study more subjects at the same time; Students now have access to modern education; And new professional careers are opening for them. He added that in the last decade there has been significant progress in improving the research ecosystem and the necessary resources have been strengthened.
“In 2013–2014, gross research and development were only 60,000 GBP Crore. More than this doubled to more than 1.25 lakh crore. Several state -of -the -art research parks have been established throughout the country.
He said that the number of patents in the country has now increased from approximately 40,000 in 2014 to more than 80 000. “This shows how much youth support is gaining from our ecosystem of intellectual property. For further support of research culture, the National Research Foundation was introduced with a budget of 50,000 crore.
The Prime Minister’s research scholarship has been introduced to ensure that the talented individuals face any obstacles to the development of his career, he added.
