On Monday, the Pakistani army rejected India’s claim that Islamabad had received external military support, especially from China-in May with four-day border clashes in May and called “actually incorrect” and “irresponsible” charges.
Indian claim: China and Turkiye supported Pakistan
Asim Munir’s notes came only a few days after Deputy Chief of Indian Army Lt Gen Rahul R Singh, spoke at a seminar in Nový Delhi, claimed that Beijing supported Pakistan during the Sindoor operation and conflict as a “living laboratory” for weapons testing.
Rahul Singh also claimed that Turkiy had supplied military hardware to Islamabad and that India was actually dealing with at least three opponents during confrontation 7 – 10 May.
“Irrisable, In fact, incorrect”: Munir hits back
“The indication of external support in the successful surgery of Pakistan Bunyanum Marsoos is irresponsible and in fact incorrect and reflects chronic unwillingness to recognize indigenous abilities and institutional resistance developed for decades of strategic caution,” Asim Munir said.
“The name of other states as participants in purely bilateral military conflagration is also an unclear attempt to play the camp policy …,” added the head of the Pakistani army.
Pakistan warns of rapid retaliation for any provocation
Asim Munir claimed that any attempt to endanger Pakistan sovereigntan would meet with a solid, immediate reaction without any restrictions.
“Any incorrect measure or attempt to undermine Pakistani sovereignty will encounter a quick and decisive reaction without any restriction or inhibition,” he said.
“Any attempt to target our population centers, military bases, economic nodes and ports immediately hurt deeply and more than mutual reaction.”
“Aboriginal ability, not alien help”: Munir
Asim Munir, who rejected the Indian narrative, said that Pakistan’s defensive ability was completely grown and the result of decades of strategic development, not foreign aid. He contrast with what he described as an Indian “parish alignment” with principle diplomacy and regional partnerships in Pakistan rooted in mutual respect and peace.
“Unlike Indian strategic behavior based on parochial self -satisfaction, Pakistan created a permanent partnership based on principle diplomacy, anchored in mutual respect and peace,” Munir said.
Wars win Willpower, not weapons, says the head of the Pakistani army
Asim Munir also claimed that military victories were formed by discipline and national will, not a political attitude.
“Wars do not win through media rhetoric, imported decorative hardware or political sloganeering, but through faith, professional competence, operational clarity, institutional forces and national determination,” he noted.
Sindoor Operation and Four days of Conflict
The conflict in May 2025 broke out after India started the Sindoor 7th Operation on May in response to a terrorist attack from April 22, Pahalgam, which focused on terrorist camps in Pakistan a controlled territory. The following military confrontation lasted four days and ended on May 10. India claims that his decisive promotion on the last day forced Pakistan to end hostility.
Pakistan, however, claims that his own military operation – Bunyanum Marsoos – was completely indigenous and effective without playing external forces.
