Representative of the Chief Minister and leader of the Karnataka DK Shivakumar on Tuesday claimed that the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party and its associated entities organized the “probe” against the worshiped Agency (NIA) and Edform (ED) and Edforming (NIA).
After sensational claims about mass funerals and sexual assaults in the centuries of the old shrine, later found false, political sparring and public restlessness.
Why was the temple of Dharmasthal under the controversy?
The controversy was induced when the complainant, identified as CN Chinnaiah, claimed that dozens of bodies – including women showing signs of sexual assault – were buried in Dharmasthale in two decades. His claims showed his fingers to the temple administration.
Chinnaiah, however, was later arrested for charging of crooked oath after investigators found that his accusation was unfounded. The state government represented a special investigation team (SIT), which exhumed skeletal, remains in several wooded places along the Netravathi River, although no direct connection with the temple administration has been introduced.
What does VHP require?
Vishva Hindu Parisad accused “entrusted interests” of the online misinformation campaign against Dharmasthale, allegedly using visuals generated by AI and foreign funding runs to Crores Rupes.
Minister VHP Sharan Pumpwell called for NIA and ED to follow the financial trails and identify responsible, and claimed that forbidden groups such as the popular queue of India (PFI), and its political wing SDPI indirectly supported the campaign.
The memorandum was presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Interior Minister Amit Shah through district officials who urged the Swift Central intervention.
Why does Shivakumar blame BJP?
Shivakumar, addressing reporters in Bengalur, claimed that controversy was the result of an internal tearing in BJP. “It is a BJP and his collaborators who have conspired and tried to blur the black sign on Dharmasthal,” he said, urging the temple depository of Veerendra Heggade to allow the sanctuary to be abused for political purposes.
He also criticized the planned assembly of the BJP “Dharmasthal Chalo” on September 1 and described it as an attempt to use the devotees and evoke riots. “Do your rally in Bengalur if you want. Do not draw loyal to politics,” he said.
How did the Dharmasthal temple authorities answer?
Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari (Depository) of the temple of Dharmasthal Manjunatha Swamy, welcomed the SIT probe and repeated the government’s call to truth and transparency. BJP and temple administration administration emphasized the importance of protecting the sanctity of the shrine in the middle of a political storm.
What lies before us in a row of Dharmasthal?
Since SIT is still investigating and trading fees for political parties, the discussion shows no signs of maintenance. While VHP is looking for spacecraft at national level in alleged foreign involvement, the Government of Congress accuses BJP of inciting disagreement.
Meanwhile, the center of attention remains whether the central agency will intervene and whether the line will deepen in the September assembly of the BJP in Dharmasthale.
