Devotees celebrate ‘Ganesh utsavam’ at Manginapudi beach

Devotees from across the state participated in the ‘Saragateera Maha Ganapathi Utsavam’ organized at Manginapudi Beach. The beach wore a festive look on Sunday (September 20, 2026) with cultural events and other activities keeping the devotees spellbound by the pandal.

As part of the arrangement, the administration illuminated the bank and decorated the pandal. Devotees performed a special puja to the 63-foot Ganesha idol enshrined in the pandal.

Minister Kollu Ravindra, Krishna District Collector DK Balaji and officers from various departments are monitoring the situation to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees. The administration arranged transport, drinking water, medical services and other facilities for the devotees at the beach.

Meanwhile, officials have made foolish arrangements for immersing Ganesha in canals and other water bodies, police said.
