Development work worth ₹500 crore is underway at Kondepi, says minister

Various development works worth ₹500 crore have been carried out in Kondepi constituency, Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said after inaugurating the road project at Singarayakonda in Prakasam district on Monday.

Along with BC Social Affairs Minister S. Savitha, AP Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Nookasani Balaji and Kanigiri MLA Mukku Ugra Narasimha Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed cement road at Patha Singarayakonda built at a cost of ₹ 68 lakh.

He also laid the foundation stone for the drinking water pipeline project for ST Colony, estimated to cost ₹12 lakh. Criticizing the previous government for stalling the BC residential school project at Singarayakonda, he said the BC welfare minister had sanctioned it with ₹45 crore.

Ms. Savitha said that since the new government came into office, everyone from the Chief Minister to the Ministers and MLAs has been constantly interacting with the people and solving their problems.

She claimed that while the previous government neglected administration, the current government is revitalizing the systems starting at the village level and providing amenities such as cement roads, sewage facilities and potable water.

The minister also mentioned that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed the expansion of residential schools that offer quality education and good facilities. She urged the people to stand by the local leaders who are working for the development of Kondepi.
