As part of the Vijnana Kerallam campaign, Janakeeya will be held on October 11 at the Government Engineering College, a one -day mega workshop called “Skill Poarram”. The aim of this event is to strengthen the cooperation between the university institutions of the Kerala in the development of skills prepared for sectors and expansion of job opportunities.
Kerala is to introduce an ambitious employment initiative aimed at ensuring the location of the campus for one lake, which will complete his studies in the academic year 2025–26, said Vijnana Ceram TM Thomas Isaac. Representatives of universities, polytechnics and ITI will participate in Pooram skills.
The workshop will be inaugurated with the Minister for Higher Education, R. Bindu, while the President of the District Panchayat VS Prince Chairping District. After the inauguration session, 20 thematic seminars will take place as part of the Poarram skill.
According to Dr. Isaaca is a wider goal to provide training based on skills and secured job opportunities to almost three MAKH students who will take a university education this year.
Of these, two job opportunities Lakh K-DISC (Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council) have been mobilized through cooperation with industries and businesses. Any participating university is expected to provide at least 1,000 local or graduate jobs, which will contribute to further Lakh’s job.
“Every institution will have freedom to identify job categories based on their students’ interests and abilities,” Dr. Isaac.
K-DISC will propose specialized skills training courses adapted to the needs of employment identified by the company’s discussions. These course modules will be distributed to educational institutions, with 50 selected universities responsible for the organization and provision of programs. Each participant will also receive the free work of ASAP (another skill program) without costs.
In order to further increase employment, international educational platforms such as Coursera, Foundit and LinkedIn Learning will offer free high-level skills via K-DISC.
Universities have also been ordered to identify graduates who work in the academic and industry to serve as mentors for students undergoing training. Graduate meetings are already taking place across campuses to obtain volunteers, both in India and abroad. The aim of the state is to hire at least 50,000 volunteer mentors for this program.
Valedictory of the meeting will be solved by the Minister for the Revenue of K. Rajan. Dr. ISAAC will present a comprehensive report on the initiative and outline the future activities of the Skills Center.
