
Vipperla Srinivas, deputy director of the city’s bio diversity, GHMC from Serilingampily zones, demanded a 2,2 lakh bribe to clean the control accounts for supplying the complainant’s plant material to the wing of urban biodiversity, magical zone.
The ACB (ACB) was arrested by Vipperla Srinivas, Deputy Director of the City Bio Diversity, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Serlingamply zones that held more charging of the magic zone held by BRIB and accepted the Brib of 2.2 Lakh.
According to ACB officials, Mr. Srinivas was caught by the UNIT-2 urban range in ACB, when he received 70,000 GBP from the complainant around 1.35 hours, the bribe was part of the total demand of 2.2 Lakh to clean the accounts for control for the supply of plant material in the urban biological zone.
The investigation revealed that Mr. Srinivas had received 1.5 Lakh from the complainant. The amount of bribe was obtained from its possession and the accused officer was made before a special court for SPE and ACB in Nampally, Hyderabad. Further investigation of the case is underway.
ACB urged the public to report any demand for bribes by civil servants by calling for free number 1064. The complaints can also be submitted via WhatsApp (9440446106), Facebook (ACB Telangana) and X (formerly Twitter) @telanganaacb. The complainants’ identity will be maintained confidential.
