
The Bombay High Court demanded ‘ £60 Crore deposit ‘to consider Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra’s request for traveling abroad.
“Deposit £60 Crore, then we will consider your action to travel abroad, ”said the High Court to Bombay’s couple, PTI said.
The Court’s Order comes after the couple filed a reason for the High Court, which was looking for the cancellation of the lookout circulation (LOC) who issued them against them in connection with the company for alleged fraud £60 crore.
Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty were looking for a suspension of the location between October 2025 and January 2026 to allow them to travel overseas.
On Tuesday, Eow (Wing Economic Trefensses Wing) questioned an actress for about four and a half hours in connection with £60 crore fraud.
What is the case against Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty?
The case stems from a complaint filed by entrepreneur Deepak Kothari, who claimed that between 2015 and 2023, crore 60 £ “> Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra made him invest £60 Crore in their now defunct business, Best Deal TV PVT LTD and later diverted funds for personal use.
According to companies, the complainant claimed that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra contacted him in 2015 through the mediator to seek and £75 crore loan on Best Deal TV PVT Ltd.
Raj Kundra has already been questioned by the EOW police in Mumbai. Loc was issued against them at the request of EOW.
What was the reason for the couple?
In his petition, the couple claimed that Shilpa Shetty resigned to the company in 2016 and that they both had to travel abroad for professional obligations. They say they deny this opportunity to violate their fundamental rights.
“Applicants have the fundamental right to business and/or the profession and denial of such opportunities (travel abroad) would mean violation of their fundamental rights,” the petition said.
