
The Food and Civilian Delivery Department will organize a state -level seminar on Friday to gather recommendations for the state government “Vision 2031”, an initiative on the formation of the State Development Plan when the 75th anniversary of its formation in 2031.
Finance Minister KN Balagopal will open an open seminar that will be performed during the morning meeting, followed by panel discussions. The Minister of Food and Civic Deliveries of GR Anil will present the “Vision 2031” plan during the seminar.
The main discussion on the position of “Kerala in the global food security map” will be led by the President of the State Financial Commission KN Harillal, a member of the Board of Directors of the State of K. Ravi Raman and Economist Reetic Kher.
The President of the State Commission for Food Gin Zacharia Oommen and a member of the Board of Directors of the State Ramakumar will also participate in various panel discussions.
Anil, who addressed media persons here, said the state has achieved its primary goal of food security and moved to another objective to achieve nutritional security. It is expected that the seminar will formulate ideas to further strengthen the activities of the department in this direction, he added.
