The Finance Department Andhra Pradesh decided to clear the waiting accounts of small suppliers, especially those waiting for payments for works completed between 2014 and 2019.
Suppliers who have made works that stand up to 5 GBR crore will receive full settlement of their waiting accounts. Similarly, those who have carried out projects that cost up to 5 lakh will also receive payment.
The financial department, which operates on the Government Directive, has already begun to process payments of almost 400 GBP Crore. This initiative is part of a number of payments that are constantly present by the previous government, which has been cleaned since the establishment of the NDA government.
The main Minister of N. Chandrababu Naida reportedly ordered the financial department to speed up this process in time for the festive season. CMO officials say that funds will be credited directly to suppliers’ bank accounts in a few days.
