Della Group has unveiled plans to build a 600-acre international spiritual township near Tirupati Airport to showcase 5,000 years of Hindu cultural heritage on the global stage.
Branded as Vasudhaika Kutumbam, the private project aims to position Tirupati as a world-class tourism hub with a blend of spirituality, culture, hospitality, wellness and premium real estate.
Della Group founder Jimmy Mistry and others met Revenue, Registration and Stamps Minister and Tirupati Anagani district in-charge Satya Prasad at the secretariat in Amaravati on Thursday and presented the concept of the project.
They sought government support for early clearance and facilitation, noting that a private developer already owns the 600 acres needed for the project.
The proposed district will host the world’s first exhibition dedicated to Hinduism along with spiritual and cultural centers, therapeutic wellness facilities, adventure parks, leadership development programs and premium residential spaces. The project is expected to generate assets worth nearly ₹3,000 crore, the company said.
Responding to the proposal, Mr. Satya Prasad said the government was committed to promoting spiritual tourism and acknowledged that such initiatives would further benefit Tirupati, which already attracts devotees from all over the world.
He assured that the necessary approvals would be expedited as per regulations and promised to discuss the project with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
