The Indian Election Commission announced on Wednesday that voter photographic identification cards (EPICS) will now be delivered to voters within 15 days of update in election role. The aim of this step is to facilitate the comfort and efficiency of services and real -time monitoring.
“The new system will ensure that each phase in real time directly from the epic generation of the electoral registration officer (ERO) until the voters voters via ministries (DOP),” the EC said in a statement.
Voters will also receive notifications via SMS at each stage and inform them about the state of their epics.
To implement the new ES system, it also introduced a reserved IT module on the recently launched Ecinet platform. “The new IT platform will replace the existing process by reworking the current system and the streamlining workflow,” he said.

Step 1: Visit the National Voters’ Services Services (NVSP) https://voters.eci.gov.in/
Step 2: Sign up using your mobile number and E -mail ID and enter CAPTCHA.
Step 3: Create your account using your name. Enter and confirm the password and then ask for OTP.
Step 4: OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. You want to continue, enter OTP correctly.
Step 5: Log in to your account using your data, then enter CAPTCHA and other OTP.
Step 6: Click on the “Fill in Form 6” tab for new voter registration and fill in your personal, relative, contact and address details.
Step 7: Upload the required documents.
Step 8: Preview the application to identify and correct the errors, and then click Send.

Step 2: Log in to your account using your data and password.
Step 3: Go to the “Follow Application Status” tab.
Step 4: Enter your reference number you received after completing Form 6 and 6A.
Step 5: Select Status and click Send Status view button.
