DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday (April 8, 2026) asked a series of questions to the BJP as well as Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a special session of Parliament on delimitation. He said the DMK would not stand by and countenance “any attempt which threatens the rights of southern states while giving more power to the north”.
In a post on social media, Mr Stalin said: “Don’t turn the calm south into a storm.” He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi must answer the “just and pressing questions” raised by the people of the South.
