Delimitation Act will not affect any state including Tamil Nadu, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami said at a roadshow in Coimbatore on Thursday (April 16, 2026).
Seeking votes for AIADMK’s Amman K. Arujunan (Coimbatore South) and BJP’s KP Jayaram (Singanallur) and Vanathi Srinivasan (Coimbatore North) during the election rally, he said Chief Minister MK Stalin had appealed to the people of the state to tie black flags at their houses to protest against Delimitation Billing on Thursday. “Nobody has tied the black flag in their houses in Coimbatore. People here know,” he said.
