Former Chief Minister Delhi Atishi was assigned a bungalow on Ansari Road as its official accommodation, sources said on Tuesday.
The Public Work Department (PWD) also issued an offer for repairs and renovation thesis £39 Lakh in 115 Ansari Road Bungalow Allocated leader of the opposition in Delhi’s Assembly.
“We will make a general repair required in the bungalow. It lay free for more than a year and requires changes in tiling, kitchen, drainage systems and other interiors,” said a higher PWD official.
Atishi previously asked her to be allowed to keep the bungalow Mathura Road AB-17. According to PWD officials, however, this bungalow is part of the center accommodation and could not be assigned as part of the inter-bazen exchange.
Sources AAP said Atishi wrote PWD in March and demanded that she was assigned a bungalow on the ansari road in Daryaganji, but not get any answer.
The Road Bungalow Ansari Road was also offered atishi when the main minister was after PWD took back 6, Flagstaff Road Bungalow because it is part of the CBI investigation.
The Flagstaff Road bungalow was occupied by Arvind Kejriwal as the main minister in Delhi from 2015 to September 2024.
“In March this year, we asked for the allocation of a residence to 115 Ansari Road, but it is unfortunate that the assignment has been recently approved,” AAP sources said.
Bungalow Mathura Road AB-17, located opposite Bharat Mandapam, has been occupied by former Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia for several years. Atishi was assigned after Sisodia went to prison.
