Delhi traffic police released travel advice for motorists on Monday with regard to the lawyers’ strike. As lawyers of all district courts in Delhi, they plan to continue to strike and refrain from working after a recent announcement by Lieutenant VK Saxen, which caused a stir, commuting must acknowledge some road closure and alternative routes.
The traffic police in Delhi said: “In connection with the protest of the Tisi Hazari courts on 25.08.2025 from 10:00 and further, traffic in the surrounding areas will remain affected.
Limitation of transport and alternative routes
Traffic restrictions will be introduced from 10:00 in the morning. Traffic movement along the road road, Boulevard Road, Rani Jhansi Road, Rani Jhansi, Rajpur Road, Shamnath Marg, Lothian Road, Kacheri Road, Zorawar Singh Marg and Hamilton Road.
“Under the Yudhister set will not be allowed to rotate,” the counseling says.
Commuting must complete the following alternative routes to achieve their goal:
- Motorists heading towards Tisi Hazari from Shastri Park will be redirected from Yudhister set via Outer Ring Road.
- Transport coming from the Ring Road (ISBT Kashmiri Gate) will be diverted to Chandgiram Akhara.
- Motorists from Lothian Road/Khoya Mandi will be re -deployed on Boulevard Road.
- Vehicles from Kela Ghat Marg will be diverted to the Ring Road via the ISBT Kashmir gate.
- Motorists coming from Nicholson Marg/Mori Gate will be diverted through Kacheri Road.
- In addition, MCD Chowk will be on Dr. Kanwal Marg again deployed vehicles from Rajpur Road, Rajniwas Marg and Chauburja Marg.
- “Traffic from Lala Jagannath Marg and Roshrara Road will be diverted from Baraf Khana Chowk to Dr. Karnwal Marg,” he added. “
With regard to a significant event, some other special operating arrangements are also introduced on Monday. According to the traffic police, the vehicles will not be allowed to stop or park on Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Shanti Path, Panchsheel Marg, Simon Bolivar Marg, Kautilya Marg and nearby sections.
Traffic motion will be transformed into Vande Matram Marg, Simon Bolivar Marg T-Point near RML Hospital, under Moti Bagh and Yashwant Palace Roundabout.
