Delhi Traffic Alert: India vs. West Indies Cricket Match The second test match takes place at the ARUN JAITLEY stadium in Nový Dilli. When the excitement stops after Shaubman Gill won the throwing and decided by a bat, the traffic growth outside the stadium is the worst nightmare of every driver. Delhi Traffic Police has abandoned travel counseling for motorists to ensure a smooth journey during the match days that will continue until October 14.
Delhi Traffic Police in the X post said: “In connection with India vs. West Indies 2. Test cricket match at the ARUN JAITLEY stadium, 10 – 14 October 2025 | 09:00 hours.”
Traffic consultancy came into force at 7:00 am today 10th October and the restrictions will be canceled at 20:00. Traffic curbs will be monitored for all the days of the match. The affected roads include JLN Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Bahadur Shah and Zafar Marg. This means that the vehicle movement along Rajghat, Delhi Gate, Turkman Gate and Ramchararan Aggarwal Chowk will be influenced.
Traffic restrictions
According to advice, neither heavy nor commercial vehicles, BSZ Marg, Guru Nanak Chowk and Asaf Ali Road will not be allowed on the Daryaganj route.
Commuting is advised to avoid the following roads from 7:00 to 20:00 during the match days, the council said.
Entry to the stadium is permitted via “Gates 1 to 8 (South) via BSZ Marg, Gates 10 to 15 (east) via JLN Marg, gates 16–18 (west) via BSZ Marg”.

Where to park vehicles?
Free parking is available on Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road. It is important to note that there is no public parking near the stadium. Vehicles with valid parking permits must not access the parking of the stadium. The entry of these vehicles is allowed only via Vikram Nagar cut to BSZ Marg near Shahidi Park.
