The woman was murdered and the accused allegedly died suicide shortly after a crime in Tirupalyi near Hebagodi on the outskirts of Bengalur on Wednesday, the police said.
The deceased woman was identified as Mandira Mandal (27).
The police said it was attacked by a knife and her throat was cut. The accused, Suman Mandal (28), was found in the same house later. They both came from the western Bengal.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Suman was a friend of Mandiry’s husband Bijoy Mandal.
Mandira and Bijoy were married for eight years and had a six -year -old son. However, the couple lived alone in the last two years. Mandira lived in a rented house in Tirupalya.
According to the police, Suman reportedly went to visit Mandira on Sunday evening. It is said that the argument broke out during which Suman allegedly killed it using a knife available in the house. Later he died suicide by hanging up in the room.
Hebagodi police visited a place and sent both bodies for post mortem.
