Strong rainfall in several parts of Delhi on Monday can disrupt flight schedule at Indira Gandhi International Airport in the National City.
The unfavorable weather conditions caused waterliance in key areas and disrupted traffic, which caused airline companies to issue travel counseling.
The main Indian airlines, including Air India and Indigo, have released travel councils for their passengers and said that flights could be affected due to bad weather.

The Indigo low -cost carrier said on Monday that the persistent bad weather in Delhi affects flight operations.
“Heavy rainfall affects large parts of Delhi,” the airline said on X (formerly Twitter).
Bad weather led to “some roads towards the airport, which experienced water delay and traffic delay,” Indigo said in a statement.
The airline also recommended passengers to go to the airport before it is usual, from their planned take -off time and check the status of flight on the official website or Indigo application.
“Be careful about wet and slippery roads. Our teams actively follow the situation to keep operations smoothly,” Indigo warned.
“Your comfort and safety remains our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding.”

In another case, Air India also issued travel consultancy on the X -Social Media platform.
The airline warned its passengers that “rain and thunderstorms can affect flight operations to AZ Delhi today”.
She also advised passengers to check their flight status on the company’s official website in advance.
“Before you go to the airport, please check your flight status and keep your extra trip,” the airline said in a statement.
Weather in Delhi-NCR
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday released extensive weather warning predicting heavy to extremely heavy rainfall across several regions of the country between 14 and 19 July.
Parts of Delhi-NCR were witnessing heavy rain on Sunday evening and brought relief from damp weather. The weather department issued a red warning for other showers.
