
Delhi continues to win under the conditions of the wool, while the maximum temperatures rise above 40 degrees Celsius for the second day in a row. The sleeping heat made life difficult for the inhabitants because hot winds were blowing around the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow warning and warned people to take preventive measures and perform. The conditions of the thermal wave, which grabbed capital yesterday, did not show any signs of release today.
As part of the IMD warning system, yellow warning advises people to stay careful, avoid heat, wore light -colored and loose cotton clothes, and cover their heads with cloth, hat or umbrella.

Schools cut outdoor activities
At the growing temperatures, the Directorate for Education (Doe) issued in National Capital instructions for all government and private schools that directed them to suspend the morning rally, avoid all outdoor activities and educate students about the risks of heart -related diseases.
Measures include administration of moisturizing beverages such as AAM Virgo, lemonade, buttermilk and apples of wood in the school.
Schools reduced outdoor activities after 10:00 to prevent solar and heat related to diseases among students, the directors said.
How to protect yourself during the wave

Limit outdoor activities, especially between 12:00 and 15:00 when the sun is at its peak.
Drink water often even if you don’t feel thirsty.
Wear free, breathable and light -colored clothes.
Use hats, sunglasses and umbrella for a walk.
Wear the right shoes to protect your legs from hot surfaces.
Keep a bottle of water with you while traveling.
Increase your intake of moisturizing fluids such as buttermilk, lemon water, glucose water or oral rehydration solutions (ORS).
Ensure that pets and other animals have access to the shadow and clean drinking water.
Use curtains, blinds or solar points to block direct sunlight.
Take cold showers or bathrooms to help reduce the body temperature.

Avoid drinks such as alcohol, tea, coffee and carbonated drinks because they can lead to dehydration.
Refrain from heavy, high protein or musty food.
Never leave children, older individuals or pets unattended in parked vehicles, as internal temperatures can rise dangerously quickly.
