He added that a total of 26 fire offers were deployed.
The Minister of Health of the Union and President BJP JP Nadda spoke to Deli CM Rekha Gupta and President BJP Dilli Virendra Sachdev and asked them to provide immediate assistance to the victim of the fire incident Rohini.
He also asked Sachdev to involve BJP staff to provide assistance to the affected people.
How did the fire start?
According to DFS, the fire began from one of the cottages and immediately absorbed the whole area.
More than 800 densely packed shacks, spread out around five acres, was glowing in the fire. There were strong cords of smoke in the sky as firefighters fought with flames.
The exact cause of the fire is not yet known.
However, the preliminary inputs suggest that the fire could be triggered in the cluster itself.
“It took more than three hours to complete the flames completely. The cooling operations are still ongoing. The bodies of two children were restored and immediately sent to a nearby hospital,” DFS official said.
“The fire is now completely under control. Cooling operations are taking place,” he said.
Another incident investigation is underway.
