Runners who qualify for this facility will be able to travel for free.

The organizers have arranged for dedicated volunteers to be stationed at key metro stations including JLN Stadium, Jor Bagh, Janpath and Jangpura to guide the participants and help with crowd management during peak hours.

Delhi Half Marathon route changed due to protests

Marathon organizers on Wednesday announced “minor adjustments” to the opening route of Sunday’s race. It was reported that the Open 10K will start from Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium instead of Sansad Marg, which witnessed massive protests against ECE Gyanesh Kumar in the past few days.

“The Delhi Police is fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of every runner. We have been working closely with the organizers for the last one and a half months to prepare for the race day,” Kumar added.
