Traveling between Delhi and Grrabram is set to a large transformation. With the launch of Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) and Delhi Dwar of the Dwarka motorway, they finally commute an alternative to the heavily overloaded NH-48. Reportedly, the twins are expected to bring the time of traveling from Delhi to the Gurogram for less than 30 minutes, while alleviating the pressure on the dotter points such as Ring Road, Dhaula Kuan and Mahipalpur.
Two mega links
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start 76 km UER-II, known as Delhi’s new “Outer Ring Road” and 29-km Delhi on the Dwarka highway. Together, the projects are expected to transform connectivity between Delhi, Gurogram, Noida and Jaipur.
UER-II runs from Alipuro in Northern Delhi to Mahipalpur near Igi Airport. Built for the price around £7,700 Crore, connects Mundka, Bakkarwala, Najafgarh and Dwar, while connecting with the highways with Chandigarh, Rohtak and Sonipat.
Dwar Stretch highway that stands £9 000 crore, ranges from Kherki Daula Toll Plaza in Grrabogram on Shiv Murti near Mahipalpur, directly associated with the gurigram part launched in March 2024.
Relief for commuting to the airport and gurigram
They are now working with these corridors, traveling from Noida or Dwar to IGI airport will take only 20 minutes. Even more importantly, for everyday commuting they create new routes of the parallel path to the gurrogram, bypass the NH-48 and the notorious operation in Dhaula Kuan and Mahipalpur. Officials said the shift is expected to significantly reduce the load of the Delhi motorway – Grrabram.
Impact on Delhi – NCR
For lakha commuters, new roads promise more predictable travel times, shorter rides to the gurrogram business nodes and relief from chronic overload. Together with existing motorways, projects are considered a Delhlí-NCR road network changer.
