A Delhi court on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) set the stage for the trial and ordered the framing of charges under the stringent provisions of MCOCA against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and 19 others, saying there is a prima facie case against them.
Next session Judge Prashant Sharma ordered Mr. Bishnoi and others to be charged under Sections 3 (organized crime) and 4 (possession of unaccountable property on behalf of a member of an organized crime syndicate) of the Maharashtra Organized Crime Control Act.
