On Tuesday, Delhi’s court awarded the conditional release of Baramulla by deputies Sheikh Abdul Rashid, also known as the Rashid engineer to participate in Parliament from 24 to August 4, on the days of the house. However, the court imposed costs and other conditions for release.
The order was accepted at the next meeting of Judge Chander Jit Singh from Patiala House Court, who also refused the request of Mr. Rashid, who was looking for an interim bail to fulfill his duties as a deputy.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) opposed temporary plea and stated that if Mr. Rashid is allowed to visit parliament in custody, he should bear travel costs.
Rasid councils – advocates of Aditya Wadhw, Vikhyat Oberoi and Nishita Gupt – claimed to be awarded bail and be allowed to visit Parliament in custody without being asked to pay for travel expenses.
In previous cases, the courts granted Mr. Rashid a temporary bail for his participation in the parliament and for the campaign during the elections to the Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, which took place in October 2024.
Mr. Rashid, who has been stored in Tihar since 2019, attacked and won Baramulla surveys from 2024 Lok Sabha and defeated the current main minister Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah.
The NIA was arrested under the Act on illegal activities (prevention) in connection with the case of terrorist financing in 2017. According to NIA, his name appeared during the interrogation of the entrepreneur and the co -charged Zhoor Watali.
