Ms. Gupta said the government is committed to ensuring a clean, healthy environment and improving air quality in Delhi through sustained and comprehensive measures. “Tackling air pollution requires firm and effective interventions. This decision is a major step in that direction,” she said, stressing the need for strict compliance.

Ms Gupta stressed that the government was pursuing a multi-pronged strategy to combat pollution and said that controlling vehicle emissions remained a key priority. She urged residents to keep their PUC certificates updated and actively contribute towards building a cleaner and healthier Delhi.
