
Police in Delhi arrested independent Bohyn Chaitanyanand Saraswati, who allegedly tried to portray as a high -ranking international diplomat using false identification cards. The arrest comes in the middle of the ongoing investigation of financial fraud and sexual harassment involving more women.
What fake ID did Chaitanyanand Saraswati used?
According to the authorities, two counterfeit guest cards were obtained from Saraswati. One identified him as a “permanent UN Ambassador”, while the other described him as a “special envoy to India” and a member of the BRICS Common Commission.
The police confirmed that both IDs were completely manufactured and seemed to be part of the effort to falsely project global diplomatic status and influence.
“These documents were designed to create a false impression of legitimacy and power,” the police officer said.
How and where was Saraswati arrested?
62 -year -old divine worship was detained from Agry, Uttar Pradesh, in the early Sunday hours.
“Several teams were created on Nab Saraswati. Based on the entrances, we watched him to the hotel in the Taj Ganj Agra and caught him around 3:30,” the policeman said.
Saraswati reportedly fled from Delhi on August 4, shortly after the first information report (companies) was registered against him.
What are the accusations of sexual harassment?
The case against Saraswati focuses on the worrying accusation of 17 female students at the Private Institute for Administration in Southwest Delhi, where he previously worked as chairman.
It is said that Saraswati forced the students to visit their quarters late at night and send them inappropriate news in odd hours. Investigators also revealed that he allegedly followed women’s movements through their phone.
The accusations have been described by the authorities as part of a formula of predatory behavior lasting several months.
What financial crimes is Saraswati accused?
During the investigation, the police found that Saraswati used more names and false identities to operate several bank accounts.
“The accused withdrew £50 Lakh after the company was registered against him, ”said the investigative officer.
Authorities have frozen assets worth £8 CRORE, including funds held across bank accounts and fixed deposits associated with Saraswati.
