More than 1.2 million students graduated at the 102nd convocation of Delhi University, where Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan, the chief guest, told the graduates that they will serve as architects of the country’s future and play a key role in shaping India’s development rooted in Indian realities and globally competitive.
“Degrees are only certificates, but real education is reflected in humanity, character and responsibility,” Mr. Radhakrishnan said in his speech. The Vice President added that education is not a final stage of life but a continuous process and emphasized that acquiring knowledge is a continuous endeavour.
