Discussions at the Council of Kochi Corporation Council on the budget of 2025-26 were witnessed by government councilors left-wing front (LDF), which described the budget as a budget that positively influenced all aspects of urban life, while opposition united democratic front (UDF) Mediced, through the main and strict representatives.
LDF councilors claimed that the budget had fulfilled most of the promises provided to people and gave Fillip the future development of the city. Awareness itself would not help the fight against cancer and drug threat. Projects should be carried out to reduce treatment costs. The budget lacked any proposals to increase income, UDF claimed.
Councilor BJP accused the corporation of the grounding of central projects by distorting them as their own in the budget. They mocked LDF for standing on the path of curb bond in the past.
