
The CEO of the High Court in Kerala told the CEO of prisons and corrective services that it was decided to expand the facility for electronic filing of the High Court to the Prison Authorities to streamline the digital processing of the appeal of the prison and other petitions/request for judicial axle.
As part of this, a standard operational procedure (SOP) would be followed when switching to the new system. Given the absence of an electronic alternative, the appeal of prison submitted under S.424 Bharatiya Nagarik Surraksha Sanhita 2023 and other petitions/applications striving for the court axle moved by prisoners are currently prepared in paper form and are sent to the Supreme Court for filing, he says.
