The Thiruvananthapuam Municipal Police cloak Ananthapuri Manicandan, a member of the District Congress Committee (DCC), on Tuesday’s Bengalur.
For their alleged role in the case of Kowdiar land, in which the gang allegedly led illegally acquired the property owned by the US inhabitant Dora Asariya Cripps in Jawahar Nagar.
The case includes alleged counterfeiting documents to entertain 14 cents of land and a house worth approximately 10 crore.
The police previously arrested three persons, including Manicandan’s brother E. Malesha, who allegedly participated in obtaining the e-player necessary for the transaction. Manicandan attacked as a candidate of Congress of Attukal Ward in the last local elections to the body.
