
Emma Raducan created a strong performance that defeated Naomi Osaka in direct sets and reached the quarterfinals of the Washington Open. The 21-year-old defeated the four-time Grand Slam Champion 6-4, 6-2 in what has recently been one of its most impressive victories.
The result also means Raducan is ready to regain your position As the British number one, when the WTA rating is updated next week, Katie Boulter is overtaken.

She admitted Raducan that she was surprised by how she had a convenient match when she prepared for a much harder battle against Osaka.
“I thought it would be a really difficult match. Naomi won four slams, was the number one number one, won the Masters,” Raducan said, as Sky Sports quoted. “It is so dangerous and in hard courts I think it is particularly comfortable.”
Raducan said she was pleased with how she managed her service games and adapted to the pace of Osaka when advancing the match.
“I knew I would have to play well and manage my own service games that I really proud of how I did it. After I got used to it a little. I’m really pleased by how I managed the ball speed and conditions.”
Returning the dreams of Venus Williams ends
Meantime, Campaign Venus Williams Comeback In Washington, it ended with a loss of 6-2, 6-2 for Poland Magdalena Frech in the second round. The 45-year-old carried out a promising start to the match, but Frech threw away seven direct games to take control and close the victory.
