On Monday, Mandya’s Institute of Medical Sciences (Mims), a representative of the Commissioner Kumar, ordered the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (Mims) to ensure transparent and effective management of “Aarogya Dham”, a campus facility by means of funding for social responsibility (CSR).
It provides affordable accommodation for carer of hospitalized patients.
Dr. Kumar chaired the Mandyi audit meeting and stated that Krishhnakumar, the joint director, the Ministry of Food and Civil Supplies, was appointed foot officer for Aarogya Dham. Darshan Kumar, a resident physician, will supervise everyday operations.
Nominal fee of 30 GBP per day will be charged. Based on the patient’s registration number, a computer -generated confirmation must be issued. The collected fees will be credited to the user fund and will be used to maintain and remunerate employees, he said.
Dr. Kumar ordered the employees to install the signposts on the registration counters and ensure that the carers submit the patient’s registration data, the identity and the hospital slip to use the equipment.
He emphasized the need for cleanliness, display instructions for managers and regular maintenance.
He said the shortcomings were emphasized during the recent visit of Lokayukta and these corrective measures were launched. Report report will soon be submitted, he added.
Dr. Kumar ordered the Mims of the Medical Superintendent Shivakumar to perform a surprising inspection during the night shifts to ensure the presence and responsibility of doctors and employees.
After the meeting, the representative of the Commissioner inspected the parking space of the OPD, the pharmacy and the vehicle. Despite the alleged discrepancies in the collection of parking fees, which was collected instead of approved ₹ 7 for eight hours, he warned that the parking contract would be canceled if computer billing and proper fees were not respected.
