Cantonment Secunderabad Mla Sri Ganesh Narayanan’s convoy was reportedly attacked by a group of individuals in an incident for road rage on Sunday evening, while on the way to the Bonal celebration in Manakeshware Nagar.
The incident occurred around 21:30, shortly after the convoy MLA crossed the hospital and continued along the Osmania University Road near the Sithaphamandi section, said police officer East Zone.
“According to the had to confront, when his convoy struggled with a crowd who gathered on the road and asked them to go,” the officer said.
Narayanan claimed that several men from the crowd responded aggressively, tried to stop his vehicle and caused a stir. After the quarrel, he turned to the Osmania University police station and filed a complaint.
Police Osmania University of the police registered the case and started investigating this matter. Officials stated that they are examining CCTV shots from the area to identify the participants. No injuries were reported in the incident.
