Data parks with a combined capacity of 1,000 MW to be set up in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru

The Karnataka government on Thursday decided to set up data parks in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mangaluru.

A preliminary meeting on the matter was held by Power Minister KJ George, Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil and IT and BT Minister Priyank Kharge at Shakti Bhavan here. The combined capacity of all the three parks will be 1,000 MW and these will be set up first, the ministers said.
