The Minister for the Development of Women and Children Lakshmi Hebalkar said on Tuesday that the Dasara festival symbolizes pride, prosperity, patience and the strength of women. The worship of the goddess, which protects the virtuous and defeats the wicked, is the essence of Vijayadashami, she added.
Mrs. Hebalkar, who spoke after the inauguration of the female Dasara organized by the subcommittee of women and the child of Dasar in JK Grounds, said women gave the world the essence of culture.
“Previously, the kings have retained cultural traditions. Today, the government is celebrating noble,” she said.
The Minister said that the vision of the main Minister Siddaramaiah is economically authorized by women by providing their job opportunities and allowing them to live. Five warranty schemes were introduced to maintain women in the center, which in favor of millions of women, Mrs. Hebalkar added.
“Women are no longer limited to the kitchen or imprisoned by four walls. They are symbols of self -esteem that lead their lives of dignity. From creating flowers to the Moon, women have immense power,” the minister said.
Mrs. Hebalkar noted that social attitudes have changed over time, and men now support their daughters in their lives independently.
The Minister also expressed the pride in the author who won the Booker Ban Mushtaq Awards, who opened the festivities and said that the latter brought recognition to the literary heritage of the nation.
During the event, Mrs. Hebalkar visited exhibition and sales stalls and appreciated the creativity and art participants of women.
The Assembly also dealt with the Karnataka State Warranty Office.
