This year’s Dasara is celebrated for 11 days instead of the usual 10 days and says the festival is celebrated with Gaity without any obstacles
Main Minister Siddaramaiah claimed that this year’s Dasara festival attracted a large number of tourists.
We are talking to reporters after offering Puja Nandi Dhwaja in front of the North Gate of Mysur Palace, which also prepares a way to start the vijayadashmi procession, Mr. Siddaramaiaha said that this year’s Dasara was celebrated for 11 days instead of the usual 10 days.
If people are happy and participate in the festival in large numbers, the government is also happy. “If people are happy, the government is also happy,” he said.
He said he started the Vijayadashmi procession on five occasions during his first term as the main minister and on three occasions during his second stint. Siddaramaiah said he said that a procession with the blessing of the state’s people tried to expand his greetings to the population of the state.
He thanked the international winner of the Booker BANU MUSHTAQ Award for the inauguration of the Dasar Festival and the Minister responsible for the HC Mahadevappa district, among other ministers and officials for agreements.
“This year, the state was given good rainfall in all districts and all tanks were filled with water. With the exception of crop loss due to floods in several North Karnataka districts, crops were good,” he said.
Representatives of the main Minister DK Shivakumar and Mr. Mahadevappa also expanded their greetings on the occasion of the Dasar festival to the population of the state.
