The remaining for two weeks to start the Grand Dasara celebrations launched the Sales of Gold Card-Pire Cards with all key events, and some tourist destinations with tickets to the highly anticipated Jamboo Savari and Torchlight Parade, starting with Saturday 6 September.
For the first time in recent years, the first time to launch gold card tickets and finals will allow tourists to plan their visit well in advance to witness the spectacle. These cards and tickets are available online on the official DASARA website https://mysoredasara.gov.in/.
The stakeholders in the tourism industry and travel and travel operators demanded timely gold card selling to facilitate tourists to plan their visit at the time of Dasar celebrations.
The gold card is the price of 6,500 GBP, while tickets to Jamboo Savari and Torchlight Parade are awarded for 3,500 GBP and 1,500 GBP per person.
In addition to entering Jamboo Savari, the Golden Card provides access to one person to visit the Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hills, Mysuru Zoo, Torchlight Parade and The Drone Show. The primary attraction for gold card holders is the main session in the gallery to the palace and offers an excellent view of the parade of Jamboo Savari.
Deputy Commissioner and Special Officer Dasara G. Lakshmikant Reddy called on individuals to take advantage of this opportunity and buy tickets through the official website. However, the authorities did not find the total number of gold cards and tickets available.
The press release issued by the District Administration said gold cards and tickets were available online from 15:00 on Saturday.
The website shared details about the arrangement of sessions for gold card holders and individual buyers of tickets in the palace as well as Bannimantap Grounds – the venue of the Torchlight Parade, for the convenience of buyers.
Last year, to avoid mass purchase for further sale of the black market, the District Administration of OTP and verifying e-mails during the purchase of tickets was implemented. This measure turned out to be effective and ensured the fair division and availability of tickets even days after the start of the sale. In addition, the administration printed more tickets based on demand and tickets were issued daily to prevent bulk purchase.
The same OTP-based system was set up with personal data (including e-mail address) that are required to ensure that real tourists have access to the purchase of gold cards and event tickets.
