The high drama won the city civil and session Court Hall 64 when actor Darshan, a key accused in the case of the murder of Renukaswama, appeared through a reference to the video conference and claimed that his health was getting worse because the living conditions inside the prison were unbearable.
Darshan visibly shaken and, with tears in his eyes, said he was locked in a cell and was not allowed to walk inside the prison. “I haven’t seen sunlight for many days, my hands have developed fungal infection and my clothes.
He replied to his notes and ordered the judge to prison officials to allow him to walk inside the prison and provide him with pillows and bed according to the prison manual.
However, the court did not issue any instructions to move Darshan to Ballari’s central prison. If there is a violation of the conditions or any incorrect behavior, the prisons and corrective services can call, the court said the case is judging by 19 September.
Darshan was arrested in June 2024 in connection with the kidnapping and murder of 33 -year -old Renukaswamy of Chitradurgy.
When he was stored in the central prison of Pappan Agarahara in August 2024, he was reportedly subjected to preferential treatment that changed controversial and later moved to Ballari’s prison. Later, the bail was permitted by the High Court, which was annulled by the Supreme Court at the beginning of this year, and also took note of the alleged inconsistencies during his stay in prison.
