The Dakshayani Velayudhan Memorial Lecture, organized by the Interdisciplinary Center for Social Justice, National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, will be held on February 26 at 11:30 am at the university.
GB Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of the University, will inaugurate the function organized to honor the memory of Dakshayani Velayudhan, the only Dalit woman member of the Constituent Assembly of India.
The memorial lecture will be delivered by KC Sunny, former Vice-Chancellor of NUALS. J. Gireesh Kumar, Associate Professor, Central University of Kerala; Lina Acca Mathew, Registrar, NUALS; K. Abhayachandran, Center Director; and KL Namitha, assistant, will attend.
