Dakshayani Velayudhan, the only Dalitian woman in the folder, and actor Mammoothy-Bob Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam-Našli place in the Sylabus for four-year-old Ba History Honors at an autonomous institution.
The life and work of Dakshayani Velayudhan, who graduated from the University in 1935, was included in a smaller course for students of the first semester of the four -year university program. It was listed under the module in the history of Kochi in a unit called “Local and Global: The situation Kochi in a wider historical stream”.
Dr. Sakhariya T., Associate Professor and Head of the Department, said that actor Mammoothy was included in the main voter for “Sensing Celluloid: History of Kerala’s film” for second -year students. In the third module in the main cinema in Malayalam there is a unit called “Popular actors, Stardom – Mohanlal and Mammotty Era,” he said.
