Errol Musk, father of billionaire Elon Musk, described the recent public clash of his son with President Donald Trump as a “mistake” and predicted that Trump would eventually come to the top in a bitter dispute.
Errol Musk said the dispute was driven by stress and exhaustion. “They were under great stress for five months. And that gives them a break. You know, they had to get rid of the whole opposition, try to put the country back on the track and do normal things, and so on,” he told the Russian media, according to Izzestia daily newspapers.
Errol added: “They are very tired and stressed. So you can expect something like that. It’s not uncommon.”
“Trump prevails”
The older musk was clear about the result that he expects from the promise. “Trump wins. He’s the president. He was elected president, so Elon made a mistake, I think. But he’s tired. He’s emphasized.”
Elon, according to Erolo, “He wants to adhere to the principles that they do not give up the democrats (a) their stupid thoughts. It’s normal, it’s just a little thing (that) will be over tomorrow.”
Spark dispute in the middle of political tension
The conflict escalated with Elon Muska publicly criticized Trump and the Republican legislation “One big beautiful bill Bill”, which Musk called “pork filled” and “disgusting abomination”.
Last Thursday, Musk intensified his attacks and claimed without his support: “Trump would lose the elections, Dems would dominate the house, and the Republicans would be in the Senate 51-49.” In one place it seemed that Musk even supported the efforts to indict Trump and controversially referred to Trump’s name in connection with Epstein files, although this post was later deleted.
Tension affect business relationships
The dispute stressed Muska’s business links with the government. Trump threatened to reduce federal treaties with Muska and Musk indicated that he retired on the Dragon Spaceship – the primary means of government of the orbital approach.
While Trump downshots any reconciliation, Musk warns against potential “consequences”, if he financially supports democrats in 2026, Musk reportedly demonstrated openness for repairing things. Vice President JD Vance expressed optimism about bringing Musk back to the Republican fold.
Trump’s answer
Asked about reconciliation, Trump was rejected: “No, I have no plans. I am not really interested. I don’t think about Elon. You know, I just wish him.”
Trump also suggested that Musk “lost his mind” and “crazy” in the middle of the public conflict.
