Gukesh plays high praise
The legendary Garry Kasparov had high praise Gukesha after defeating Magnus Carlsen and claiming that Magnus Carlsen may have ended in chess.
“Now we can question Magnus’ domination,” Kasparov said in the commentary.
“It’s not just his second loss to Gukesh, it’s a convincing loss. It’s not a miracle, or that Gukesh just benefits from Magnus’ terrible mistakes. It was a game that was a big fight. And Magnus lost.”
Gukesh himself compiled Kaspar’s comments, but he said that the high praise felt nice.
“It’s very nice to hear, but I prefer not to think in these conditions. I still see myself as a player who works hard to improve every day. We just take one game at once, one tournament at once.
