World Champion D Gukesh finished sixth in St. Louis Rapid and Blitz when Levon Aronian from the US won the title on Friday, August 15. Gukesh ended the campaign in total after a permanent hard campaign.
The last day of the event, the Indian Grand Master, increased the expectations of fans with a fine comeback when it did not overcome in the first four games and secured 3.5 points in this process. After admitting a draw to Aronian in the first game, Gukesh Shankland and Wesley defeated, so before overcoming Uzbekistan nodirbek Abdusattorov. Gukesh now turns his attention to the Sinquefield Cup, which will start in two days. This will be the last event before the Grand Chess Tour final. The countryman R Pragggnanandhaa for the Sinquefield Cup joins the Gukesh.
