I don’t want to sound offensive, but I think Magnus ended the classic world champions. Kasparov later offered an apology while maintaining his attitude.“I’m sure there will be more excitement in the candidates and the next World Cup match. But I’m sorry. I have to apologize again and again. This is not exactly the title I had or Karpov had or had Fischer or Magnus.”These notes came when Gukesh played a draw against the Polish Grand Master Jan-Krzysztof Duda, who had previously helped him become a world champion.Kaspar’s perspective has a significant weight when he won six times the World Championship title, including four victories against Anatoly Karpov, and wins over Nigel Short and Viswanathan Anand.Together with Bobby Fischer and Magnus Carlsen, Kasparov is often considered one of the biggest chess players in history.
