Cyclone Murasu: schools and colleges in Bapatla district to remain closed on November 3

Bapatla District Collector Vinod Kumar V declared a holiday for all government, private and corporate schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the district on Tuesday (November 3) in view of the cyclone Murasu warning.

In an official notification issued on Monday, the Collector said that there was likely to be extremely heavy rainfall under the influence of the cyclone. He ordered the officials of the education department and the management of all educational institutions to implement the orders immediately.

The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students in light of the expected adverse weather conditions.
